Ystalyfera School - Communtiy Hall


Juniors - 'FunksterZ'
Aged 4 -8
Length of Class 45 mins

This class offers the younger dancer a chance to experience the dance styles that we offer.  Using the current chart music applicable for thier age, fused together with warm up games, techniques and dance routines, students have fun whilst learning.  This is helping thier co-ordination, confidence and just having fun whilst dancing.


Intermediates & Seniors - 'Dance XS & Pulse'
Aged 9 - 16
Length of Class  - 1 hour

Intermedaites are introduced to more technical and specific styles of dance.  Using terminology, they build up a picture of dance and its origin.  These students under go more technical dance steps which encourages them to push thier capabilities further.  They focus on more detailed excercises combined with high levels of dance vocabulary. They undergo longer and more rhythmic routines which enhances thier dance vocabulary


Advanced - 'Xtreme'
Aged 12 - 21  (Invitation only)
Length of Class - 1 hour 30 mins

This class is for the more experienced dancer. To enter this class an audtion is required to assess the dance capability of the student. Students within this class will be pushed to thier fullest potential and beyond.  Experience is essentail within this class as its delieverd at a high level and pace than the rest of the school.  Challenging both physically and mentally, this class supports students who are wishing to further thier career into the industry improving on thier movement memory, fitness, vocabulary and technique.


Adults - 'Elev8'
Aged 18 upwards
Length of Class - 1 hour 15 mins

This class is for beginners upwards.  This class is aimed at the older generation who is wanting to get in on the action too.  This class is focused on the fitness aspect. With a full body warm up followed by a street & hip hop dance routine. Its a great way for people to increase thier fitness and dance at the same time.  This is a more laid back compared to the rest of the school, however its still demanding physically and mentally

Juniors
Aged 4-8
4:30pm till 5:30pm
Length of Class 1 hour

5:30pm till 6:30pm

Seniors are introduced to more in depth technical and specific styles of dance.  Using more advanced terminology, they build up a picture of dance and its origin.  These students under go complex & technical dance steps which encourages them to push thier capabilities further.  They focus on more detailed excercises combined with high levels of dance vocabulary. They undergo longer and more rhythmic routines which enhances thier dance vocabulary



Adults
Aged 18 upwards
7:30pm till 8:15
Length of Class - 45 mins
